Victoria Falls
Zambia offers visitors the unique opportunity of a Victoria Falls safari. Victoria Falls is the largest, in width, waterfall in the world. It is also the strangest in form and has the most diverse and easily viewable wildlife as well. Although towards the end of the rainy season is the best time to view Victoria Falls, the water can make traveling up to the area very difficult. Unlike many other major waterfalls of the world, Victoria Falls can be approached to close proximity by foot. This allows for fishing in the banks of the falls. Although the falls border between Zambia and Zimbabwe, both sides have magnificent views and wildlife parks in order to protect the area. The Victoria Falls National Park, in Zambia, is around 66 square kilometers and contains animals such as elephants, buffalo, giraffes, zebra, antelope and baboons to name a few. The park is a great place to also view a variety of vide species such as Taita Falcon, Black Eagle and Peregrine Falcon. A diverse list of fish are also apparent in the river connected to the falls. White water rafting, bunging jumping, river boating, skydiving, jetboating and kayaking are just some of the activities that are sure to make for an amazing Victoria Falls Safari. The view in itself is spectacular and romantic. Honeymooners, families and adventurers alike will love visiting this rumbling giant. A Victoria Falls safari is a great way to end your visit to Africa.
