Zebra Safari
Zebra are both beautiful and wild in Africa and a Zebra safari wouldn’t be complete without a visit to the Wildebeest Migration at Masai Mara in Tanzania and Kenya. During this annual spectacular event, millions of wildebeest migrate to greener grazing lands. Amidst them are many zebra and just outside that giant mass are lions ready for the hunt. In fact, a zebra safari may lead you nine times out of ten directly to a wild and thrilling lion chase. Zebra are otherwise plentiful in regions such as Tanzania, Kenya and Botswana. South to Aha Hills, south to the Okavango delta and south to the Kwebe Hills are territories that zebra regularly occupy in Botswana. Northern parts of Makgadikgadi in Zimbabwe are also home to these beautiful animals. Usually in family herds of 4 to 6, zebra can reach larger numbers when several small herds graze together. Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania is the remains of a volcanic cone that crumpled in on itself. This makes it a great place to view zebra in their natural settings. Zebra graze on fresh grass so any grassy plain within the country is a good bet that there are zebra around. It is usually best to try spotting zebra in parks that lay on the path of the annual zebra migration.
